Created from the base of the KV-1, the KV-2 was used like a mobile artillery in the start of WWII by Russian army. The production stopped in 1940 because of very hight maintenance cost and difficulties to use the machine. His impressive 152mm main gun was very powerful, and used lately on the SU-152 who substitued him for the rest of the war.
